People often assume women are the “beautiful” ones and men are the “strong” ones—but in reality, beauty and strength show up in all kinds of people. Both are gifts from God, and both can be powerful. In this session, we’ll talk about how that power can be misused—whether it’s showing off, manipulating others, or chasing attention. Using our God-given gifts for selfish reasons damages our relationships with God and with the people around us. But the answer isn’t to hide those gifts or feel ashamed of them, either. Old Testament God vs. New Testament Jesus? (Spoiler: They’re the Same)
Ever felt like the God of the Old Testament is all fire and judgment, while Jesus is all love and grace? What did Jesus really mean when He said He came to fulfill “the law”—not abolish it? And if the law still matters, what does that mean for us today? How we answer these questions shapes how we read the Bible, live in the freedom Christ offers, and share the Gospel. In this session, we’ll break down the tension between law and grace, uncover why the whole Bible tells one continuous story, and discover why Jesus fulfilling the law is really good news.

Not Hollywood, Not Hogwarts: The Real Spiritual Battle
Movies, novels, and even church clichés distort how we picture the spiritual world—leaving us with fear, superstition, or a shrug that says nothing’s really there. However, the biblical authors saw something deeper and more real: a physical and spiritual world overlapping at every point. In this breakout we’ll cut through the noise and focus on how Scripture actually understood the spiritual world. We’ll see why spiritual warfare in the Bible is less about spells, methods, or demon-hunting and more about allegiance — whose you are, and who you’ve been joined to. The battle, rightly understood, isn’t ours to win but a victory already secured at the cross and now ours to stand in. Come ready to think hard and to leave living alert, faithful, and fearless in the reality of authority and victory over spiritual darkness only available in Jesus.

The Value of Traditions: Honoring them with Balance
Traditions are valuable! All of them? All the time? Certainly not! What traditions are valuable and which ones are not then? This discussion is not going to address AC traditions one by one to determine the “good ones” versus the “bad ones”. We will explore ways to view traditions with a healthy thought process. One that allows us to have perspective, see value, and objectively weigh effectiveness. We want traditions that help to create and sustain a culture of unity across the body of Christ and, even more, our faith in God.

Living Missionally
This talk will be given by full-time missionaries who have served internationally but currently support indigenous churches around the world while based in the US. They will share from their testimony and experiences and provide practical encouragement of how God wants to lead you missionally every day.
